True Variations, Layer 7 of 10

48″ x 72″ (4 @ 24″ x 36″), Oil and Graphite on Canvas, 2009

These are four of thirty paintings of the same size that are part of the large work titled True Variations. The work is about how the only true variations that occur anywhere are those made through the repetition of the same process over and over again. While this repetition is creative it is also very destructive, leading to the idea that to avoid the destruction one must change, which is destruction itself, therefore destruction is unavoidable.

$2000.00/set or $600.00/each
