This is the fourth layer of ten that are part of the single painting of thirty canvases titled True Variations. Each is grided to 256 squares and painted the same in order to see if true variations occurres through the repetition of the same thing. The finished piece will measure seven feet by 30 feet and have over 35,000 squares painted during its devlopment.
