The Shoveled Walk

23″ x 29″, Oil and Graphite on Canvas, 2009

The imagery is obvious here, but the message is a little more than just get out when it snows and shovel your walk becauae I’m tired of walking on ice. This actually pertains more to an Emerson quote that says “If every person cleared their own walk the whole city would be passable”, or something to that effect. Let’s be responsible, let’s take care of our walk, we will all reap the rewards.
